a weekend walk

I found this beautiful place when Bara and I were went out on the weekend about a couple months ago. We're just drive towards the highlands area almost an hour from my house. Then we found this elongated path with tall pine trees on its both sides. There were only a few houses around that area, which make this path very calm and serene. Also fresh because surrounded by pine trees. I thought this place was proprietary, because it has high fence on the front but it wasn't locked . So we parked our car outside the fence and got into that place. Then we took a walk followed the path, just to stretched our legs, took a deep fresh breath and of course, some photograph :)
It's always nice to go to new places and found such a wonderful place to explore or simply to enjoyed. How was your weekend, guys? I hope you have a great one :)

happy weekend!

I found this alarm clock while helping my mom clean out the attic of our house last weekend. I remember my dad bought this clock when I was in kindergarten. At that time, I really love pandas. I also remember he once bought me a little panda doll.
I really enjoyed seeing that panda's body moves when the clock was ticking. That was so cute. But unfortunately that clock was broken. It only ticking when I shake it  :(
Anyway, hope you enjoy your weekend, guys! I enjoyed mine with a cup of tea and some cookies :)

moodboard 170113: collections

I always love to see someone's collections. Such as stationery, vintage items or even dried leaves and pebbles. I used to have several collections. Stamps, owl things and wrapping paper. But things that still collected until now is just wrapping paper. I like to collect the unique and not-any-other-like wrapping paper. Maybe I'll share my collections here someday :)

currently loving : it's autumn!

..........................
currently loving // autumn

Hello there! This is my first post in October. Happy autumn, my dear friends in the 4 seasons country! I love autumn hues! Although there is no autumn in my country, but October is also the first month for the rainy season here. As a rainy-person, I really excited  :D
The rain falls down in my town almost every night. It makes the air more cool and comfy to sleep :)
Beside that, the other things I love from autumn and rainy seasons is its hues, the atmosphere. I love shady, quiet, calm and gloomy atmosphere. It makes me more comfortable, calm and even excited at the same time.
Well, I hope you can enjoy your autumn or rainy or any seasons in your country as I am :)

Actually I'm not a summer person. I prefer rainy morning than the summer day. But this month, I fell in love with the summer shades. The atmosphere, colors and summer things. Hope you enjoy your summer, my dear friends in the other hemisphere...

#2. Color Swatches

A few weeks ago I was made this color sample page on my journal. I take the color combinations sample from my old clothes (the green one) and my mom's clothes (the other one). I just making the sample by taking a similar color using watercolor on some heavy paper. And then made into some color card which inspired from this site.

Then I scan it to get the palette code of these colors. And I also write the colors names that I use to make these colors on the back of the card. So I could make the same color again later.

Well, this post is just the second post of the '100 Ideas' with art journaling. It will take a looong time for me to finish it :(
I was very busy with the office work and some other work. And I get a really bad monday yesterday with that office work and cough that doesn't heal for these 3 days. Not a good start for this week I guess :(

I hope your week is much better than me.
have a lovely week everyone!
xo.

Art Journal

I'd been very busy last week till this afternoon. So tonight I decided to have a relaxing time, accompanied by a cup of cappuccino+caramel syrup, take some chitchat with my boyfriend by phone [but he's very busy tonight :(, make me little bit dissapointed.... ], and do something with my new journal.

I bought this journal a few weeks ago from Kineruku, little library and book store in my town. This journal was actually a visual diary pocket-book, made by Tarlen Handayani, one of very talented crafter in my town. She create a lot of beautiful handmade notebook. You can found her gorgeous works here or here.
Each series of this visual diary has a beautiful photograph on the cover and has a brief story about the cover on the last page.

I really love my new journal. I want to use it as an art journal but I have no idea what should be written or drawn. So I start reading about art journaling from one of my favorite blog here, and I found a link to this very useful blog post. It's about 100 ideas things to do with journal, and it's really fun!
I've download it, cut and roll it into small rolls, put in the tin can and pick it randomly. And this is the first thing I've chosen :)
I'll post the result a.s.a.p.
Please try the '100 Ideas', and have fun with it.

Hope you have a lovely Monday, everyone!
