DIY leather camera strap

I always wanted a leather strap for my DSLR. After looking at some local webstore to buy a leather camera strap with no results, I found this idea through Pinterest. A leather camera strap made from old purse strap. I think this one is perfect for me. I remember I had a leather clutch with strap that I bought about 4 year ago. And the strap size is just perfect for my camera! So with a bit gluing and sewing, I get my self-made leather camera strap! :)

a weekend walk

I found this beautiful place when Bara and I were went out on the weekend about a couple months ago. We're just drive towards the highlands area almost an hour from my house. Then we found this elongated path with tall pine trees on its both sides. There were only a few houses around that area, which make this path very calm and serene. Also fresh because surrounded by pine trees. I thought this place was proprietary, because it has high fence on the front but it wasn't locked . So we parked our car outside the fence and got into that place. Then we took a walk followed the path, just to stretched our legs, took a deep fresh breath and of course, some photograph :)

It's always nice to go to new places and found such a wonderful place to explore or simply to enjoyed. How was your weekend, guys? I hope you have a great one :)

cucumber + lime fresh soup

Hello there! Happy Saturday and Happy September from Indonesia :)

It's 29°C outside. Quite hot for chilly town like Bandung. So I decide to make something fresh to drink. This fresh soup is my choice because it's easy to serve. Here's the recipe...

Cucumber + Lime Fresh Soup

1 medium size cucumber, shaved smooth

juice of 1 medium lime

1 tbsp sugar or simple syrup

1 cup cold water

lime slices

ice cube

Mix shaved-cucumber, lime juice and sugar in a bowl. Add cold water and stir until the sugar dissolved. Add lime slices and ice cube. Serve and enjoy!

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to visit the forest park in my town at the weekend.  It was a very fun time we had. Even though we just walk around and take some photos to try out my new camera :) Then at the next day we both went to the cinema to watch Ice Age 4. What a funny movie! Orangejasmine

I took these photos last Sunday. This is one of a collection of my mom's plants. This is called Orangejasmine (Murraya paniculata (L.) Jack.). It looks like jasmine flower but has fresh scented like an orange :)

It's blooming so much and has really sweet-scented! Then my mom's little garden got some "guests". Mrs. Butterfly and Mr. Bee :))

This is another blooming flower at my mom's little garden. I'm not sure what this flower's name. Can someone told me what kind of this flower?

New Sketchbook !

This is my new sketchbook. I get it by buying the heavy papers for drawing and then left to the bindery to be bound. Once bound, the cover was plain and laminated. And while I'm blogwalking on Geninne's site, I've got inspired with her post. So I think I want to draw my sketchbook cover too, so that's won't be too plain. But my sketchbook over was got laminated, so I can't coloring it using watercolors. So i draw it using snowman white and micron pen waterproof ink, and varnish it.
